A fresh bite of spring in January

Just few novel facts. It's all about strawberries. 

1.Some voices said  that, if you divide a strawberry in half and share it with the opposite sex, you’ll  fall in love with that one.

2.Strawberries are a 'Royal' member of the Rose family.

3.There is a museum in Belgium just for strawberry.

4.Madame Tallien, a prominent figure at the court of the Napoleon I  was famous for bathing in the juice of fresh strawberries. Needless to say something. She did not bathe daily.

5.To symbolize perfection and righteousness, medieval stone masons carved strawberry designs on altars and around the tops of pillars in churches and cathedrals.

6.After Father’s Day,on June 21-23, 2012, there is The Strawberries Festival.The host-city is London.

And......many, many other strange and unknown details. Who doesn't fall in love with these red hearts what are the first fruit to ripen in the spring ? 

As about their taste ? Just delicious and memorable.

Strawberry mousse

Use your food processor to make this recipe.Blades are ideal.

Mix for several minutes(or until mixture takes on consistency or..your food processor bowl is filled) :

1 large cup of fresh strawberries(about 300 gr)

1 glass of sugar

1 egg white

Then, just eat this great, fresh and tasty mixture.
