Plum , basil & honey

I have made an appeal to my imagination and, as always, it doesn't let me out.  Ideas have instantly come and ... the result is here. 
Plums, basil, honey, rose syrup, all in a perfect mixt. It can be an appetizer or a dessert as well...all depending on your own desire or taste.
Interesting taste, fantastic aroma, simplicity, speed and that something that doesn't only fill the stomach.

Directions :
10-15 not so mature plums
1 tsp butter
4-5 big leaves of basil
1-2 tbsp honey
4 tsp rose syrup
4 slices of bread
good pinch of ground cinnamon
butter (for fry)
In a small pan, melt butter. Add seeded and cuted plums into small slices . Crush then basil a bit and add that too. Add honey and rose syrup. Leave to simmer until plums soften a bit.
Meanwhile, melt the butter (some about 1 tsp) in another non-stick pan, cut the bread slices in two and fry it, on both sides, until crispy. 

If you want your plums to be as a garniture in a main-course then reduce a bit the syrup and add (at the end) few drops of balsamic vinegar. It will makes a well 'pair ' with some rice and simmered meat.

Prune, busuioc si miere

Am facut apel la imaginatie si, ca intotdeauna, nu m-a lasat balta. Ideile au venit pe moment si, rezultatul e aici. Prune, busuioc, miere, sirop de trandafiri, toate intr-un mixt perfect. Poate fi un aperitiv sau, la fel de bine, un desert, totul depinzind de gustul si dorinta voastra.
Interesant gust, fantastica aroma, simplitate, rapiditate si acel CEVA care nu doar umple stomacul. 
Daca vreti, adaugati citiva stropi de otet balsamic (la final),  reducind din cantitatea de sirop si veti avea o garnitura pentru un fel principal. Merge foarte bine cu orez si rasol de carne.
Am facut si o dulceata din prune si busuioc dar, asta va fi un alt material aici, la Oala lumii punct com.

Indicatii :
10-15 prune nu prea coapte
1 l-ta unt
4-5 frunze mari de busuioc
1-2 l-ri de miere
4 l-te sirop de trandafiri
4 felii de piine
un praf (bun) de scortisoara macinata/zdrobita
unt pt. prajit
Topiti untul intr-o tigaie, adaugati prunele taiate in felii, presarati totul cu busuiocul rupt. Adaugati mierea si siropul de trandafiri si lasati sa fiarba pina prunele se inmoaie putin.
Intre timp, topiti untul (cam 1 l-ta) in alta tigaie si prajiti pe ambele parti, feliile de piine taiate in doua.
