Icecream raspberry

Yesterday I got a basket of raspberries and, suddenly my daughter came with an idea: a good portion of raspberry icecream tastes even better if followed by a swimming session. Said and done.
Here are few facts about raspberries :
 - are an important commercial fruit crop, widely grown in all temperate regions of the world.  Raspberries are grown for the fresh fruit market and for commercial processing. Traditionally, raspberries were a mid-summer crop, but with new technology, cultivars, and transportation, they can now be obtained year-round.
Raspberry leaves can be used fresh or dried in herbal and medicinal teas. They have an astringent flavour, and in herbal medicine are reputed to be effective in regulating menses. The leaf has been used in folk remedies, due to its rich content in vitamins, minerals, and tannins.
Traditional lore suggests that pregnant women use raspberry leaf tea, especially as an aid in delivery. However, scientific research has found no evidence to support this claim. Every Woman's Herbal claims that raspberry leaf tea will enrich the mother's milk, especially during periods when the baby is going through a growth spurt.

It is also known as the fruit of eternal youth .

And, as a paradox, one of the few countries that still have plenty enough raspberries, so that it can be collected in considerable quantities from the spontaneous flora, is Romania, yet in recent rankings of world producers of raspberries, Romania doesn't exist.
However, although Romania is not included in statistics, it is a leading manufacturer of a legitimate reason: quality.
In the food processor bowl put: a bowl of fresh raspberries, 1 egg white and about 1 cup of sugar. Mix until everything looks like foam and then divide the mixture into plastic cups. Let'em into the freezer. In few hours you will have the perfect raspberry ice cream. Low calories, so cold in the summer heat and a whole mad berries flavor the will satisfy your sweet desires too.

After a good cup of icecream, what else than a good swimming game would have gone ?

In loc de concluzie:

In citeva ore veti avea inghetata perfecta de zmeura.

Enjoy !
